Feeding for a cleaner aquarium

Start with an amount you can watch.

Offer a small portion and observe it. Which fish reach the food? Which do not? Does it collect behind a decoration or move straight towards the filter? Those observations are more useful than automatically adding another pinch.

Adjust the next feeding to appetite, body condition and the needs of the species. A feeding instruction is a starting point; your aquarium tells you how that routine is working.

Food that disappears is not waste-free.

No food replaces filtration, water-quality checks or maintenance. A product can support an appropriate feeding routine without making the aquarium self-cleaning.

Use the format to your advantage.

Make leftovers visible.
