THE FORMULA DIFFERENCE
Good ingredients. A clear purpose.
Atlantic krill + squid
Marine ingredients add variety to the animal-protein blend.
Selected plant ingredients
Spinach, spirulina and kelp complement the animal ingredients.
Choose the formula for the animal, then choose the format for your routine. A strong feeding response is useful, but it is the whole recipe—not appetite alone—that matters when choosing food.
CHOOSE FOR YOUR ANIMAL
Who is Carnivore Cuisine for?
Carnivorous fish and suitable omnivores whose diets match the formula. Select portion size for the mouth size of your fish.
THE AquaFlake ADVANTAGE
One flake. Feed the whole water column.
Surface feeders, mid-water fish and suitable bottom feeders do not all eat in the same place. Change how you offer AquaFlake to bring food to the fish.
FloatSprinkle a small amount on the surface.
DriftLet flakes travel through the water for mid-water feeders.
SinkPinch flakes underwater to help them reach lower-feeding fish.
Our flakes are naturally brown to tan and made with a quick, low-temperature cooking process. Colourful ingredients belong in the recipe; the flakes themselves are not multicoloured.
A SIMPLE FEEDING ROUTINE
How to prepare and feed
- Sprinkle a small amount over the water and watch your fish feed.
- Offer only what the fish finish within 2–3 minutes. Adjust the amount and frequency to their needs and the pack directions.
- Keep the container closed in a cool, dry place. Avoid introducing moisture into the pack.
Feed to appetite and body condition, not an overflowing tank. Remove uneaten food and maintain suitable water quality.
LOCAL IS PART OF THE RECIPE
Made fresh to store.
Right here in Queensland.
We start production when a retailer orders. Most food is only a few days old when it leaves us for the store. That is what we mean by made fresh to store.
Australian made. Non-irradiated. With added prebiotics, vitamins and minerals. A practical difference you can look for when choosing your next food.
NUTRITION FIRST. FLAVOUR SECOND.
Know what you are feeding.
Fish enjoying a food is a good start. Understanding its ingredients is the next step. We highlight key ingredients on our lids and do not use label splitting to disguise a formula’s character.
Ingredient highlights
Australian salmon, squid, Atlantic krill, silkworm, black soldier fly, mealworm, cricket, spinach, spirulina, kelp, garlic, aniseed and turmeric. With added prebiotics, calcium, vitamins, minerals and montmorillonite clay.
These are ingredient highlights, not an ingredient list ranked by weight. See the current pack for the complete declaration, feeding and storage instructions.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE
Your feeding questions, answered.
Is Carnivore Cuisine grain-free?
Carnivore AquaFlake is grain-free. Carnivore AquaGel contains rice, so check the format when choosing your food.
Will this help keep my aquarium cleaner?
Measured feeding and good digestion are part of managing waste. No food makes an aquarium maintenance-free. Offer what your fish need, remove leftovers and keep up filtration and water changes.
What if flakes enter the filter?
Some small particles can reach filtration. Offer small amounts where fish can catch them, observe feeding and adjust. Overfeeding and total waste load matter more than expecting every flake to remain visible.
What does non-irradiated mean?
We do not use irradiation to treat this food. We make it fresh in Queensland, with added vitamins, minerals and prebiotics as part of the recipe.
